Originally designed in 1922 as a 9-hole course by famed designer
Donald J. Ross, the course was expanded to 18 holes in 1998 under the direction
of Dr. Michael Hurdzan and PGA Professional Fuzzy Zoeller. Three dramatic valleys,
natural tree-lined fairways, ravines, undulating hillsides, and water features
set the stage for a course that has been sculpted by the game's best.
Under new ownership and operating as a semi-private club, Delaware Golf Club is once again expanding upon these great designers visions with plans for an improved club house including a larger dining room, meeting space, and a new Pro Shop. Course improvements are also planned for the 2008 season.
We would like to invite previous Dornoch Golf Club members and the public to join us as we celebrate over 85 years of catering to golf enthusiasts in Delaware, Ohio.
